💎Cubic Zirconia also known as CZ, is a mineral that looks strikingly similar to diamond, but is often man-made (synthetic). It is often as a diamond stimulant, however there are some mayor differences in price, durability and shimmer.

🔎We prefer real diamond over zirconia, because diamonds are more durable on the long term, however every once in a while we do come across a beautiful ring set with zirconia. Good to know: We will always be transparent when a ring contains zirconia instead of real diamond and this will also be reflected in the price✅

💎🔎How to tell a zirconia apart from a real diamond by naked eye: Of course we have more refined equipment, but one “quick” way to tell them apart is by looking at the light as it enters and escapes the surface of the stone. A zirconia will display a rainbow of colours throughout the stone🌈, whereas the brilliance of a diamond is more white and rainbow reflections only appear on the outer edges.
